About Course Corrected, for founders, investors and everyone else.
About CC.VC
The firm, the team, the themes.
What is Course Corrected (CC.VC)?
Course Corrected VC AB (CC.VC) is an independent early-stage venture capital firm, founded in 2021 in Stockholm. We back founders building juggernauts in the energy and resource transition, from pre-seed to Series A, in the Nordics and Europe.
What do you mean by a juggernaut?
It is our word for the companies we back. A juggernaut is a force that is hard to stop once it moves, and it does not have to be big yet. We mean a company with the power to change the course of an industry, because it is the better business: cheaper, faster or more efficient.
Which industries do you invest in?
Four themes in the energy and resource transition: Energy Systems, Industrial Optimization, Electrification and Resource-Smart Solutions. Conviction describes each one and the companies in it.
How many companies have you backed?
21 companies across the four themes, from two funds. Each has a profile under Juggernauts.
Who is on the team?
Three founding general partners, Christine Ahlstrand, Katja Bergman and Kerstin Cooley, together with Hampus Björklin (investment analyst), Sebastian Landström (finance director) and Nathaly Fonseca (operations). A Climate Advisory Board of scientists works alongside the team.
What does the Climate Advisory Board do?
Our climate advisors bring scientific scrutiny to the impact thesis of every investment: mechanism, feasibility and the constraints on scaling. The members are Måns Nilsson (Executive Director, Stockholm Environment Institute); Beatrice Crona (Deputy Science Director, Stockholm Resilience Centre); Tomas Kåberger (Professor, Chalmers University of Technology).
Where are you based?
Artillerigatan 25, 114 45 Stockholm, Sweden. Visits by appointment.
For founders
Stage, ticket and how we work.
What stage do you invest at?
Pre-seed to Series A. You have a product or a working prototype and first evidence that customers want it.
How much do you invest?
EUR 0.5–2.5m per company in the first investment, with capital reserved for follow-on rounds.
Do you lead rounds?
We lead, co-lead or follow in early rounds and co-invest alongside Nordic and European funds we know well.
Where do you invest?
Nordics and Europe. Your company is headquartered here or building its commercial base here.
What do you look for?
Six criteria: the right stage, a base in the Nordics or Europe, a fit with our four themes, a commercial edge (your technology wins on cost, performance or efficiency), lower resource intensity built into the product, and a team ready to execute.
When should I get in touch?
Early. We meet founders before there is a round, and we would rather hear from you before you feel ready.
How do I get in touch?
Use the form on Talk to us, or email hello@cc.vc.
How do you work with founders after investing?
We open doors to customers, partners and references from the first conversation, and we stay close through the next round and beyond.
Who will I work with?
The CC.VC team, together: the general partners, the investment and operations team, and climate scientists from our advisory board.
For investors
Funds, access and disclosures.
Who can invest in your funds?
Professional investors only, within the meaning of MiFID II (Directive 2014/65/EU): institutions, family offices, funds of funds and corporates.
Which funds do you manage?
Two funds: Fund I (vintage 2021) and Fund II (vintage 2025). Fund documentation is available to professional investors on request.
What is your investment strategy?
Commercial edge first: technologies that win on cost, performance or efficiency, with lower resource intensity built into the product so that it grows with revenue. Pre-seed to Series A, in the Nordics and Europe, with initial investments of EUR 0.5–2.5m.
How do I contact you as an investor?
Write to Christine Ahlstrand and Kerstin Cooley, general partners, at christine@cc.vc and kerstin@cc.vc. One conversation with a general partner comes first; fund documentation, terms and performance follow on request, under the applicable marketing rules.
How do you handle sustainability?
Both funds have a sustainable investment objective under Article 9 of the EU SFDR. Our sustainability disclosures set out the objective, the assessment approach, monitoring and the limitations of the data.
Is anything on this website an offer?
No. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy interests in any fund, nor investment advice. Fund interests are offered only through official fund documentation. Investments in early-stage venture funds carry a high risk of loss, including the loss of the entire investment.
For everyone else
Press, careers and contact.
How do journalists reach you?
Write to hello@cc.vc with “Press” in the subject line; a general partner replies. Boilerplate, facts and logo files are on the News page.
Are you hiring?
The companies we back hire directly, and Careers links to each company’s own careers page. CC.VC itself is not taking open applications at the moment.
